Job Title: Dance Instructor

As a key member of the YMCA of Metro Atlanta team, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Dance Instructor to join our Youth Development department. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality dance and cheer programs to our members, while promoting a positive and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement engaging dance and cheer programs for children and adults
  • Provide excellent customer service to members and guests
  • Collaborate with the Youth Development Director to achieve program goals and objectives
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to ensure program effectiveness
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in dance instruction or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of dance and cheer techniques and methodologies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in dance or a related field preferred
