  • Adequately train other technicians to ensure they are performing up to standard.
  • Assist the Maintenance Supervisor in identifying deficiencies in training and development for team members.
  • Maintain a clean, safe work environment and ensure all tools and equipment are in working order.
  • Lead pre-production exercises, manage full-line rotation, and implement 5S practices.
  • Inspect and assess the functionality of production equipment, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical breakdowns, and operate power hand tools and specialized electrical equipment.
  • Fabricate parts for repairs and machine upgrades, conduct routine maintenance and safety checks, and communicate with the production team.
  • Prepare and submit maintenance reports, assist the Maintenance Supervisor and Engineering as needed, and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Four (2-4) years of college or university program certificate in Mechatronics preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Basic Electronics, Test Equipment & Troubleshooting, Pneumatics Technology Fundamentals, Electrical-Mechanical Blueprint Reading, Digital Electronics Basics, Mechanical Systems, Robot Operations, Handling Tool, & Programming, Industrial Hydraulic Fundamentals, PLC Basic Programming, Control Systems, Industrial Networks, PLC Advanced Programming, Microcontrollers With Robotic Application.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts, apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry, and interpret technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.
