Job Overview

Hourly Pay: $18.00/hr

Shift Options:

  • 1st Shift: 5:30 am - 4:00 pm (working one weekend day)
  • 2nd Shift: Mon-Tue, Fri-Sun 12:00 pm - 10:30 pm

Position Summary

The Pallet Sorting Specialist is tasked with meticulously sorting pallets to ensure they meet quality standards while removing any debris prior to their return. This role is crucial in meeting production goals while upholding a clean and safe workspace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Hand stacking pallets to designated heights, adhering to inventory control protocols
  • Loading and unloading materials from trailers manually
  • Transporting pallets or materials within the storage facility
  • Verifying the security of loads
  • Inspecting products to ensure compliance with quality benchmarks
  • Utilizing yard management systems for trailer coordination
  • Accurately completing all production documentation
  • Communicating effectively with the Shift Lead or On-Site Manager
  • Maintaining efficiency and performance standards
  • Ensuring a clean and safe working environment that aligns with company standards
  • Accountability for achieving company results while upholding core values and safety protocols

Qualifications

  • Strong math, language, and reading skills with attention to detail and basic computer proficiency
  • High attention to safety to prevent injuries and promote a secure work environment
  • Ability to follow instructions for record-keeping
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed
  • Previous experience in lumber, welding, construction, carpentry, roofing, or landscaping is preferred
