Position Overview:

The MRI Imaging Specialist plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality imaging services to both inpatient and outpatient populations, adhering to the directives of a Radiologist and established departmental protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Adjust imaging parameters to effectively study various anatomical structures, including soft tissues, the arterial system, the brain, spine, joints, and extremities, with or without the application of contrast media.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience required.
  • Current BLS certification is mandatory.
  • MRI certification through ARRT or ARMRIT is essential.
  • Preferred qualifications include graduation from an accredited AMA program and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT), along with a Magnetic Resonance Imaging Registry (MR) through ARRT.
  • A valid State License as a general radiographer is preferred.
Work Schedule:

Standard working hours are Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. There are no on-call duties or weekend shifts required.

Additional Information:
  • This is a nicotine-free facility.
  • WellSpan will not consider candidates with a history of license suspension.
  • All requests for time off or scheduling adjustments must be included in the application.
  • Candidates who have been employed as permanent hires at any WellSpan site within the past year are not eligible for consideration.

It is required that the selected candidate is willing to obtain the flu vaccine during the designated vaccination period.
