Position Overview

The Early Education Assistant plays a vital role in fostering a nurturing and secure atmosphere for young learners. This position involves collaborating with educators and management to enhance the overall quality of care and educational experiences for children. The ideal candidate will demonstrate effective communication skills, a collaborative spirit, and a commitment to supporting the developmental needs of children.


Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in executing educational activities and promote active participation among children.
  • Engage in classroom activities while ensuring the cleanliness and organization of materials.
  • Maintain open lines of communication with parents through informal interactions and regular updates on progress.
  • Model positive behaviors to encourage self-sufficiency and hygiene practices.
  • Facilitate smooth transitions for children from home to the educational setting.
  • Adhere to all organizational policies and state regulations.
  • Commit to ongoing professional development to enhance skills and improve service quality.
Qualifications
  • No prior experience required; training will be provided.
  • High energy and enthusiasm for working with children.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a team.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with basic computer proficiency.
  • Understanding of child development principles.
  • Exceptional leadership, organizational, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Certification in Infant/Child CPR and First Aid is required.
  • Must successfully complete a comprehensive background check and health screening.
Preferred Attributes

While prior experience with young children is beneficial, it is not mandatory as training will be provided. A genuine passion for engaging with children aged 6 weeks to 6 years is highly valued. Dependability and a strong work ethic are essential.
