About the Role

The Rehabilitation Hospital of Montana is a leading provider of comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients recover from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess patients' needs and develop personalized occupational therapy plans to promote independence and functional ability.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care and effective communication.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations and reassessments to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Develop and implement creative interventions to address patient pain and optimize rehabilitation outcomes.
  • Provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers to promote self-management and empowerment.

Requirements

  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Montana.
  • Previous experience in occupational therapy, preferably in a rehabilitation setting.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse populations.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification.
