Crane Mechanic

A.H. Beck Foundation Co., Inc. is seeking a skilled Crane Mechanic to join our team of professionals in Converse, TX. As a key member of our equipment maintenance team, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining our fleet of heavy machinery and equipment.

• Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine preventive maintenance on engines, motors, electrical systems, hydraulic systems, high-pressure air systems, fuel systems, and mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Repair and Replacement: Inspect, repair, remove, and replace defective or damaged parts using hoists, cranes, hand, and power tools.
• Documentation and Reporting: Prepare maintenance reports by collecting and summarizing information on work orders.
• Technical Knowledge: Read and comprehend technical publications and schematics.
• Shop-Related Duties: Complete shop-related duties as needed.

• Tool Ownership: Mechanic must have their own tools.
• Valid Driver's License: Valid driver's license.
• Valid Insurance: Valid insurance.
• Physical and Drug Screening: Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening.
• Equipment Knowledge: Knowledge of equipment with strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

• Outdoor Environments: Outdoor environments with prolonged exposure to weather conditions.
• Construction Zones: Construction zones with uneven and muddy terrain.
• Equipment Yards: Equipment yards with open shops, no air conditioning.
• Jobsites: Jobsites with moving equipment, cranes, and machinery.
• Elevated Positions: Elevated positions while working on various equipment.

• Hourly Pay: Pay is commensurate with experience and qualifications, hourly-based, and disbursed weekly.
