Job Summary

Ceco Concrete Construction is seeking skilled Carpenters to join our team for concrete construction projects. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for performing general construction labor, operating motorized equipment, and assisting in the installation of formwork and concrete.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform general construction labor, including jobsite clean-up and moving of materials by hand.
  • Operate motorized equipment, such as power tools, saws, hammers, nails, and bolts.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, requiring good balance and physical strength.
  • Assist in pouring vertical concrete and installing reshores as instructed.
  • Quickly learn and assist in various tasks, including vertical installations and removal, framing and decking operations, and distinguishing between different types of materials and equipment.
  • Read a tape measure and work accurately.
  • Work in inclement weather, potentially exposed to extreme cold and heat, noise, and dust from construction operations.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds of material and up to 90 pounds with assistance, if requested.
  • Frequently walk, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb.
  • Frequently use hand tools, such as power tools, circular saws, hammers, nails, and bolts.
Preferred Experience
  • Preference given to candidates with a minimum of 12 months of formwork/concrete construction work experience as a Carpenter, meeting or exceeding performance expectations.
  • 30 Hour OSHA Card desired.
