EHS Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled EHS Specialist to join our team at MDA Edge. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and safety of our employees, customers, and the environment.

• Develop and Implement EHS Strategies: Create and execute effective EHS management strategies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and promote a culture of safety.
• Conduct Risk Assessments and Audits: Identify and mitigate potential hazards, conduct regular audits to ensure compliance, and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Provide Training and Support: Develop and deliver training programs to employees on EHS policies, procedures, and best practices, and provide guidance and support to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with operations, management, and other stakeholders to ensure EHS considerations are integrated into business decisions and operations.
• Stay Up-to-Date with Regulatory Requirements: Maintain knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, and ensure compliance with all applicable requirements.

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering discipline or other scientific program applicable to the safety field.
• Experience: 3+ years of experience in the EHS field, preferably in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to work non-traditional hours or shifts, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Certifications: Professional certification in EHS, such as ASP or GSP, is highly desirable.
