Job Summary

Ochsner Health is seeking a highly skilled Neurodiagnostic Technician to join our team. As a Neurodiagnostic Technician, you will be responsible for conducting neurological testing procedures to obtain data for use in the diagnosis of clinical disorders of the nervous system. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct neurological testing procedures, including EEG, EP, NCS, TCD, and IOM, to obtain data for use in the diagnosis of clinical disorders of the nervous system.
  • Analyze and summarize results, providing accurate and timely information to healthcare professionals.
  • Work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide exceptional patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in neurodiagnostic technology and techniques, participating in ongoing education and training to maintain and enhance your skills.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred.
  • Two years of related experience preferred.
  • BLS certification required; willingness and ability to pursue at least one certification (R.NCS.T, R.EEG.T, R.EP.T, RVS, RCS, CLTM, or CNIM) preferred.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and professionally.
  • Ability to work effectively through changing priorities and flexible schedules.
