About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Field Enumerator to support our organization's mission to grow and enhance American agriculture through policies, partnerships, and public engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct interviews with farmers, ranchers, and other agricultural businesses to collect data on crop yields, farm operations, and other relevant information.
  • Travel to designated fields to perform crop counts and gather data on farm operations.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of interviews, crop counts, mileage, expenditures, and hours worked.
  • Represent NASDA and the benefits of enumerators in all survey actions.
Requirements
  • Experience multitasking in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment.
  • Ability to positively represent NASDA and the benefits of enumerators in all survey actions.
  • Ability to make crop counts in designated fields.
  • Ability to maintain a reliable personal vehicle.
  • Ability to conduct interviews in person or by telephone with farm operators and other individuals.
  • Knowledge about computers or iPads.
