Job Summary

Trinity Health FirstChoice is seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team on a travel assignment. As a Respiratory Therapist with Trinity Health FirstChoice, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of practice settings, including hospitals and healthcare facilities, while enjoying premium pay and flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care, including performing various therapeutic procedures and advanced practice procedures such as operating balloon pumps and working in NICU.
  • Participate in orientation of staff and student training programs for SJMHS, a teaching institution representing the Respiratory Care department.
  • Behave in accordance with the Mission, Vision, and guiding behaviors of SJMHS.
  • Use AIDET principles when interfacing/treating every patient throughout the organization.
  • Provide a consistent experience to patients, families, visitors, and internal customers by using Key Words at Key Times.
  • Serve as a consultant, resource person, and role model representing respiratory care in health system committees or work groups as needed.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of information according to HIPPA guidelines.
  • Facilitate good rapport and cooperative relationships, approaching conflict in a constructive manner.
  • Help to identify problems, offer solutions, and participate in their resolution.
  • Maintain safe respiratory therapy practices and alert management of any safety issues or concerns.
Requirements
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist with a license in the state(s) you will work.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience, depending on specialty area.
  • Cannot hold a concurrent position at a Trinity Health facility.
