Senior Radiation Oncology Specialist

At GenesisCare, we are seeking a highly skilled Radiation Oncologist to join our team. As a key member of our oncology network, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to our mission of improving life outcomes for patients worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess patients with cancer, develop treatment plans, and provide therapeutic radiation as needed.
- Interface with patients to diagnose conditions, create individualized treatment plans, and recommend tests to determine illness extent or diagnose conditions.
- Collaborate with medical radiation physicists and dosimetrists to calculate and deliver precise doses of radiation to cancer tissue.
- Prescribe medications, radiation treatment planning, and radiation target delineation.
- Monitor patients for side effects and adjust dosages as necessary.
- Review and interface with physics and dosimetry regarding treatment plans.
- Ensure quality and accuracy of patient positioning systems for planning or treatment.
- Transcribe patients' visits for recording treatment plans.
- Lead physician office staff in planning and achieving goals.
- Doctor of Medicine degree required or foreign equivalent.
- Board Certification from the American Board of Radiology and a valid medical license are essential.
- Requires thorough knowledge of radiation equipment characteristics and radioactive sources.
- Detailed understanding of radiation, human anatomy, pharmacology, chemistry, biochemistry, genetics, and oncology is necessary.
