Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Manufacturing Technician to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for fabricating pipe for fire protection systems by cutting, threading, and welding pipes, as well as bundling them for each job.

The Role

As a Manufacturing Technician, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Using various machinery to fabricate pipe for fire protection systems
  • Studying and interpreting assembly instructions to ensure accuracy and efficiency
  • Listening to directions from supervisors and communicating effectively with colleagues
  • Fabricating and assembling pipe per instructions
  • Reading parts lists and determining if all parts are present
  • Assembling tools, materials, and various components
  • Interpreting measurements and verifying specifications
  • Ensuring all parts are fitted and screwed in properly
  • Resolving assembly and production issues with management's assistance
  • Troubleshooting malfunctions and performing repairs as needed
  • Ensuring a clean and safe working environment
  • Reporting errors in production

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • To read a tape measure down to a 1⁄4"
  • To be dependable and have good attendance
  • To have a positive attitude and a willingness to learn
  • To communicate ideas, thoughts, etc. both verbally and in written form
  • To work Saturday (will count against attendance record if missed)
  • To be 18 years or older
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow directions
  • Ability to push, pull, or lift up to 50 lbs regularly
  • Ability to stand, bend, twist, and walk for 8-12 hour shifts
  • Ability to pass a drug test

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) retirement plan.
