POSITION SUMMARY:
The Critical Care Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering expert nursing care to patients in critical condition. This role involves adhering to hospital policies and regulatory standards while providing comprehensive nursing services.

The nurse will utilize the nursing process, which includes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities also include preparing medical equipment and assisting physicians during patient examinations and treatments. The nurse will mentor and supervise Patient Care Assistants, fostering a collaborative team environment.

Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment are essential for success in this role.


CUSTOMER SERVICE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Engages with patients and their families in a manner that reflects positively on the department and the healthcare facility. Works collaboratively with supervisors and colleagues to maintain a supportive workplace culture.

Ensures all interactions with patients, visitors, and healthcare professionals are conducted with respect, courtesy, and professionalism. Responds to inquiries in a timely and friendly manner, demonstrating a commitment to exceptional service and problem-solving.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Current RN License in Florida
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification
  • Basic Arrhythmia Skills
  • Completion of a Critical Care Course is preferred
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Effective communication skills in English
