Maintenance Utility Worker Job Summary

As a key member of our engine maintenance team, you will be responsible for processing aircraft parts, maintaining equipment and facilities, and supporting our goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the processing of aircraft parts to support engine maintenance goals and objectives
  • Maintain the physical condition of equipment and facilities
  • Utilize appropriate detergents, solutions, and media equipment to accomplish shop and aircraft-related functions
  • Learn and use Delta's computer MIRS/GEM functions to perform assigned jobs
  • Participate in identifying process improvements and cost-saving initiatives
  • Practice safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or G.E.D.
  • Ability to read and write English
  • Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic disciplines as they apply to aircraft systems
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to pass an extensive background check, drug test, and audiogram
  • Authorization to work in the US
