Job Summary:
Tidewater Express is seeking a highly motivated and self-sufficient CDL A Tow Truck Driver to join our Wrecker Division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for handling daily dispatched wrecker calls, ensuring timely and efficient service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
• Operate a large wrecker truck to transport vehicles to designated locations
• Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure equipment is in good working condition
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle movements and customer interactions
• Collaborate with Operations Manager to prioritize and manage daily dispatches
• Provide excellent customer service and communication skills to resolve customer issues
• Participate in on-site training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to company standards
• Perform additional duties as required by Operations Manager

Requirements:
• Class A CDL license endorsement
• Must have or be able to obtain DAD/Towing license
• No automatic restrictions
• Must have or be able to obtain TWIC and military base access
• Lowboy/Landoll Ops must have equipment moving and flatbed experience
• Have medical examiners certification
• Clean MVR
• Must have at least 3 years' experience as a wrecker operator of heavy duty rollback trucks
• Must be fluent in the English language
• Must have and keep current a USA issued driver's license
• Must have excellent customer etiquette and communication skills
• Have the ability and desire to form close working relationships with other team members
• Clean, manage, and maintain tools and vehicles which are assigned
• Perform duties during regular working hours and when circumstances arise, additional duty time required to complete a dispatched call or task required by manager
• Have a willingness to travel out of the area, and sometimes out of town, at any time of the day or day of the week as necessary
• Be receptive to on and off-site training with exceptional results
• Must be willing to learn and perform a diverse array of other assigned duties
• Must pass a criminal history check
• Must pass pre-employment and subsequent random drug/alcohol screenings
