Job Description

Oracle is seeking a highly skilled Principal Network Developer to join our Cloud Infrastructure team. As a key member of our network operations team, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and operating large-scale global Oracle cloud computing environments. Your primary focus will be on development and support of network fabric and systems, leveraging your expertise in networking protocols and programming skills to automate production environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deploy large-scale network environments
  • Develop and implement network automation solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior team members
  • Participate in the development of RFQ/RFPs and lead the adoption of new vendor hardware

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 12+ years of experience in network engineering
  • Extensive experience with scripting and automation, datacenter design, and Linux
  • Expert-level networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, VPN, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols
  • Experience with network monitoring and telemetry solutions
  • Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
