Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Residential Construction Coordinator to join our team at Creative Homes, Inc. As an Assistant Neighborhood Builder, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful completion of residential construction projects on schedule and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and direct all aspects of construction, including site preparation, material management, and labor supervision.
  • Verify updates from internal preconstruction teams and ensure accurate documentation in Builder Trend.
  • Coordinate with trade partners to receive building permits and ensure compliance with local regulations.
  • Populate Doc-Box with plans, surveys, building permits, and trade partner checklists.
  • Monitor and enforce SWPPP practices to ensure environmental compliance.
  • Review and update schedule tasks to reflect project progress and selections.
  • Verify trade partner assignments align with schedule tasks and ensure accountability.
  • Conduct daily inspections of trade partner job sites to ensure cleanliness and compliance.
  • Assist in daily checklist accountability and trade partner compliance with scope of work.
  • Ensure all work meets compliance with city or county requirements and building codes.
  • Schedule and attend required city inspections.
  • Make recommendations to improve quality of work, correct defects, and resolve job site problems.
  • Assist in Builder Quality Walk with Quality Experience Manager.
  • Build relationships and communicate job progress with homeowners and New Home Sales Specialist using the Touch Point System.
  • Review Field Production report weekly with Neighborhood Builder to verify integrity.
  • Review Extra Work Authorization daily with Neighborhood Builder to populate the form in its entirety.
  • Represent the builder as a site Assistant Neighborhood Builder, in a professional manner, with both trade partners and homeowners.
Requirements
  • Must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Organized and able to complete projects in a timely manner.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through, and superior customer service.
  • Must have the attitude and ability to adjust to rapidly changing priorities and be able to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously with a professional, positive demeanor.
  • Knowledge of residential building practices, able to read and understand blueprints.
Education and/or Experience
  • 2 or 4-yr college degree preferred but not required. Desirable study concentration in construction management.
  • Experienced in scheduling, ordering, field supervision, quality control, and production of all phases of residential construction.
