Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team on a travel assignment. The ideal candidate will have experience in performing diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting radiologic exams, including X-rays and CT scans, to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions
- Ensuring patient safety and comfort during procedures, adhering to strict safety protocols and standards
- Maintaining equipment and ensuring compliance with safety standards, performing routine maintenance tasks as needed
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to interpret images and provide accurate diagnoses
- Documenting procedures and patient information accurately, maintaining detailed records and reports
Requirements
- Current radiology technologist certification and license, valid for the state of North Carolina
- Experience in diagnostic imaging, preferably in a travel capacity, with a strong understanding of imaging procedures and patient care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and clients
- Ability to work in dynamic healthcare environments, adapting to changing situations and priorities
- Willingness to travel as needed, with flexibility to relocate to different locations
