Job Overview

Objective: To execute diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance tasks on agricultural and turf machinery owned by customers or dealers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct diagnostics and repairs on agricultural and turf machinery, including established Ag Management Solutions (AMS) products.
  • Engage in Service EDUCATE Training programs essential for skill and knowledge enhancement.
  • Stay updated on John Deere and competing products.
  • Ensure the upkeep of vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment.
  • Maintain a tidy work environment and perform tasks in an organized manner.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while executing work assignments.
  • Complete all necessary reports and documentation related to work tasks.
  • Account for all time and materials utilized in work or assigned responsibilities.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in service repairs.
  • Capability to perform basic repairs and necessary maintenance using specialized tools and equipment, following Technical Manual guidelines.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in the repair of agricultural and turf machinery.
  • Proficient in using Service Advisor and basic computer functions.
  • Ability to operate vehicles and equipment for diagnostic purposes.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Physical capability to lift at least 75 lbs. repeatedly.
  • Basic Service Technician certification is preferred.
  • Multilingual abilities, particularly in Spanish, are advantageous.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience is required; an Associate's degree is preferred.
  • A valid driver's license is mandatory.
  • A forklift license is preferred.
