CNC Machinist with Precision and Innovation

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with CNC machines, such as Okuma, Mazak, and Mori lathe machines, and possess strong knowledge of machining practices, materials, and general mechanical principles.

Responsibilities:

• Set up full production cycle and operate CNC Lathe machines for tasks such as turning, drilling, bar feeding, and live tooling.
• Optimize setup times, improve productivity, maintain offsets, and maximize machine utilization.
• Read and understand blueprints and route instructions.
• Apply expertise in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Troubleshoot programs and make necessary adjustments.
• Follow in-process part inspection protocols and report non-conformance issues to the Supervisor/Lead.
• Cordinate with superintendents, managers, production control, and quality personnel to resolve quality concerns.
• Work safely and consistently wear required PPE throughout the shift.
• Record and document issues for a seamless shift transition.
• Perform daily maintenance checks and document findings.

Requirements:

• Experience with CNC machines, preferably Okuma, Mazak, and Mori lathe machines.
• Strong knowledge of machining practices, materials, and general mechanical principles.
• Knowledge of calipers, gauges, and other required measuring tools.
• Math skills and basic oral communication skills.
• Familiarity with metals, part-holding fixtures, and lathe/mill tooling.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
