Responsibilities:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Night ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic healthcare team.

The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, a deep sense of empathy, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.

This role involves working night shifts to provide exceptional care to critically ill patients, ensuring their needs are met with the highest standard of medical excellence.


Key Responsibilities:

Patient Care:
Continuously monitor and assess the conditions of critically ill patients, utilizing advanced technology and clinical expertise.

Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to hospital protocols.

Provide comprehensive, individualized nursing care to patients, including wound care, ventilator management, and other life-saving interventions.

Communication and Collaboration:
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to develop and implement patient care plans.

Effectively communicate with patients' families, providing updates on patient status and offering emotional support during challenging times.

Participate in shift handovers, ensuring that all relevant patient information is accurately conveyed to the incoming nursing team.

Quality and Safety:
Maintain a safe and clean work environment by adhering to infection control policies, procedures, and protocols.


Engage in ongoing education and training to stay current with advancements in critical care nursing and to continuously improve patient outcomes.

Contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the ICU, helping to identify areas for enhancement and implementing best practices.


As an ICU RN, you will be responsible for delivering quality patient care, collaborating with your team, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.


Qualifications:
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

  • Current and valid state RN License.
  • Current BLS certification upon hire and maintain current.
  • Completion of Critical Care Course preferred.
  • Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
  • Current ACLS certification within 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
  • Minimum of one year as a staff RN in an acute care hospital, critical care preferred.
  • Critical Care RN (CCRN) Certification preferred.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
