Job Title: Vice President of Construction

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic direction to the General Contractor and other vendors across multiple sites within a region
  • Apply advanced knowledge of data center development, design, and construction to drive project success
  • Utilize financial models to assess project feasibility and make informed decisions
  • Draft and review agreements related to design and construction, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
  • Develop and coordinate project schedules, execute sustainability plans, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as PUE and WUE
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and meet project deadlines
  • Stay up-to-date with federal, state, and local ordinances, regulations, and past approvals related to data center development
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in construction management, engineering, architecture, or planning
  • Significant experience in large-scale ground-up core and shell or fit-out builds (>$100m)
  • Project management (PMP) and construction management (CCM) certifications preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in data center development, design, engineering, or construction, preferably in hyperscale data center projects
  • Proven experience in project risk management and mitigation strategies
