Job Title: Part-time Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Part-time Registered Nurse to join our team at an aerospace client in Sunnyvale, California. As a Part-time Registered Nurse, you will provide nursing services and first aid to employees or persons who become ill or injured at work facilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Respond to emergencies and administer first aid to employees for job-related illnesses and injuries.
  • Deliver OSHA and job/site/contract required surveillance program services to identified employee populations in collaboration with Environmental Health and Safety.
  • Maintain accurate recordkeeping in electronic medical records system (Cority) in compliance with OSHA requirements.
  • Dispense OTC Medications.
  • Work with industrial toxicology and/or hygienists to recognize environmental factors and/or stresses in or from the workplace that may cause sickness, impaired health, or discomfort among the workers.
  • Nurse will assist in providing appropriate training to management and employees.
  • Maintain compliance with laws, regulations, and standards governing occupational health and safety for employees and the workplace.
Requirements:
  • At least 5+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse with Associate of Science in Nursing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, e-mail, and internet navigation.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently or with a team on special projects.
  • Excellent written/oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to perform a variety of tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to maintain confidential documents and information.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects at one time under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to function within all levels of organization and at various locations.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing.
  • 2+ years in occupational health.
