Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Orthopedic Neurology Unit. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, implementing and monitoring patient care plans, and collaborating with healthcare specialists to ensure the highest level of patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients with orthopedic and neurological conditions
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans, including medication administration and treatment interventions
  • Collaborate with healthcare specialists, including physicians and other nurses, to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Monitor and record patient data, including vital signs and medical technology readings
  • Administer medication and perform treatment interventions as prescribed by healthcare specialists
  • Maintain and update patient records, including ward charts and medical records
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on post-hospital care, including medication management and disease prevention
Requirements
  • Active unencumbered RN license in Texas
  • Minimum of two years of current RN experience in Ortho/Neuro Telemetry
  • Graduate from a fully accredited RN program
  • One year of Epic experience
  • COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster
