Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging team at HCA Florida JFK Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic procedures using ultrasound technology to detect pathology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct diagnostic ultrasound procedures using Doppler, abdominal, and pregnancy ultrasound techniques.
  • Produce high-quality diagnostic images and send them to the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).
  • Assist physicians with ultrasound-guided biopsies and invasive procedures.
  • Maintain and calibrate ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Transport patients as needed.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Ultrasound program.
  • Registered with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
  • Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or eligible to acquire within six months of hire.
  • One year of experience in performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures, including abdominal, vascular, GYN, and small parts.
