Dietary Aide/Dishwasher

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dietary Aide/Dishwasher to join our team at Hunt Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. As a key member of our food service team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and dining areas.

• Assist in serving meals in a timely and efficient manner
• Serve food in accordance with established portion control procedures
• Assist in daily or scheduled cleaning duties, including cleaning work tables, meat blocks, refrigerators/freezers, and sweeping and mopping floors
• Carry soiled utensils and equipment to the wash area and return clean utensils to proper storage areas
• Wash and clean dishes and utensils as directed
• Carry out garbage and keep work areas clean, dry, and free of hazardous equipment and supplies
• Set up meal trays, food carts, and dining rooms as instructed
• Assist the cook in preparing meals and distribute and collect menus as necessary
• Deliver food carts, trays, and other items to designated areas
• Remove food trays from carts and dining rooms and take them to the dishwashing area
• Prepare and deliver snacks and other items as instructed
• Maintain food storage areas in a clean and properly arranged manner at all times
• Dispose of food and waste in accordance with established policies
• Assist in food preparation for special meals for parties and other events

• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and equipment
• Ability to work in a team environment and provide excellent customer service

This is a full-time position that requires working in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The successful candidate will be required to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings, including weekends and holidays.

We offer a competitive salary range of $16.00-$18.78 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package.
