Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Crime Prevention Specialist to join our team as a Patrol Officer. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining law and order in our community by enforcing local, state, and federal laws. This is a full-time position that requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

The ideal candidate should have a valid driver's license, a minimum of 60 semester hours of college credits, or two years of full-time sworn police officer experience. Additionally, they should be licensed by MCOLES or licensable under MCOLES standards. If not currently licensed, individuals who are enrolled in a MCOLES licensed Police Academy or Police Licensing Program may also apply.

The estimated salary for this position is $75,000-$100,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities:
* Maintain law and order in assigned areas
* Enforce local, state, and federal laws and regulations
* Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls for service
* Investigate crimes and gather evidence
* Prepare and submit reports and documentation
* Safely handle and maintain proficiency with department-issued equipment and tools
* Provide assistance to the public and guide them towards the proper resources (Community Policing)

Requirements:
* Valid driver's license
* Minimum of 60 semester hours of college credits or two years of full-time sworn police officer experience
* Licensed by MCOLES or licensable under MCOLES standards
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions quickly
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
