Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Slime Experience Host to join our team at Sloomoo Institute LLC. As a Slime Experience Host, you will be responsible for delivering a joyful, fun, and safe experience to our guests. This role involves greeting guests, facilitating interactive slime activities, managing guest flow, and ensuring the environment is clean and welcoming.

Key Responsibilities

  • Host and Operate Attractions
    • Enthusiastically host and operate various attractions within Sloomoo Institute LLC, including games, experiences, photo ops, and challenges, all while serving as a personable, approachable, positive personality for all guests at all times.
  • Deliver High-Level Experiences
    • Deliver high-level experiences by engaging with guests, ensuring a seamless entry to an unforgettable experience.
  • Provide Excellent Guest Service
    • Always smiling and delivering excellent guest service at all times.
  • Welcome and Engage Guests
    • Warmly welcome guests, offering an overview of activities, safety guidelines, and events, ensuring a seamless entry to an unforgettable experience.
  • Manage Guest Flow
    • Efficiently process admissions and manage reservations, maintaining a keen eye on room capacity and guest flow to ensure everyone has a great time.
  • Operate Attractions
    • Take charge of attractions, from slime-making workshops to interactive games and photo ops, bringing energy, enthusiasm, and a personal touch to each interaction.
  • Ensure a Safe and Efficient Environment
    • Oversee the operation of each experience according to our high standards, ensuring policies and procedures are followed to provide a safe, efficient, and fun environment.
  • Process Tickets and Manage Room Capacity
    • Scan and redeem tickets, ensuring a smooth transition for guests through various experiences while keeping an accurate count for room capacity.
  • Adhere to Scripts and Spiels
    • Adhere to scripts and spiels for each station to provide a consistent and high-quality guest experience, ensuring all interactions align with our brand standards.
  • Maintain Cleanliness and Safety
    • Conduct occasional maintenance and cleaning of props and attractions, ensuring they meet design specifications and reporting any issues to management promptly.
  • Uphold Brand Integrity
    • Maintain cleanliness at all stations by picking up slime off the floor, cleaning the vats, and ensuring the glass on Slingshot and other areas is cleaned throughout shifts, contributing to a safe and inviting environment.
  • Ensure Safety and Quality
    • Uphold the Sloomoo brand integrity both within the experience space and in all external interactions, always serving as a brand ambassador.
  • Support Team Members
    • Ensure safety is always prioritized, addressing, and logging any damages or repair needs, and conveying guest feedback and concerns to management.
  • Collaborate with Team Members
    • Support your team members, contributing to a collaborative, positive working environment where everyone can thrive.

Qualifications

We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual who possesses the following qualifications:

  • Education
    • High school diploma or equivalent; further education in hospitality, tourism, or a related field is a plus.
  • Experience
    • Previous experience in customer service or hospitality, with a flair for creating memorable guest experiences.
  • Skills
    • Exceptional communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to engage with a diverse range of guests.
  • Personal Qualities
    • A proactive problem-solver with a positive attitude, able to handle situations with professionalism.
  • Availability
    • Flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, and holidays, ready to bring joy to our guests whenever needed.
