Executive Chef

The Inn at Swarthmore seeks a skilled Executive Chef to oversee the safe and efficient operation of our culinary and kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will establish and maintain standard operating procedures, kitchen systems, and ensure compliance with company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement kitchen systems, including preparation logs, inventories, and product usage.
• Manage kitchen staff, providing guidance, coaching, and counseling as needed.
• Ensure compliance with food safety procedures and workplace safety protocols.
• Monitor and control food costs, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years' experience in high-volume kitchen management.
• Culinary degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Serve Safe Certification and Allergy Awareness Training preferred.
