Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our Maintenance team at our Pueblo, Colorado location. As a key member of our team, you will provide essential support to all areas of the mill in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to plan work procedures and techniques
  • Obtain and move materials, tools, and equipment as required
  • Operate various equipment and machinery to complete tasks
  • Direct others in conditioning and preparation of equipment and materials
  • Ensure compliance with lockout procedures and safety protocols
  • Perform routine maintenance and assist Maintenance personnel as needed
  • Obtain and maintain necessary certifications, including OSHA 10 and equipment certifications
  • Additional tasks as assigned by management
Requirements
  • Associate Degree in welding or completion of a welding apprenticeship
  • Minimum 1 year experience in fabrication and welding, with structural experience and certification preferred
  • Valid Colorado driver's license
  • Ability to manipulate numbers, quantities, shapes, and spaces; take precise measurements and calculate necessary dimensions
  • Self-motivated with ability to work with minimal supervision and manage time effectively
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to collaborate with all levels of personnel
  • Physical ability to climb, walk, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and exert forces up to 50 pounds and frequently exert forces up to 100 pounds to lift, carry, push, and pull
  • Ability to work in various environmental conditions with elevated noise levels and physical hazards
  • Qualified candidates will be required to demonstrate proficiency through testing
Compensation and Benefits
  • $26.74 per hour
  • Shift differential
