Job Overview


We are seeking a skilled Plumbing Specialist to join our infrastructure maintenance team at APTIM. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing various plumbing tasks, including installation, maintenance, and repair of water, fuel, gas, steam, and sewer piping systems.


The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of plumbing systems, including knowledge of water, fuel, gas, steam, and sewer piping distribution systems and associated piping. You will work closely with our team to ensure that all plumbing tasks are completed safely and efficiently.


Responsibilities



  • Determine the type, amount, and sizes of materials required to perform plumbing tasks in accordance with established state and federal codes.
  • Lay out, construct, install, repair, rebuild, and test plumbing and pipe systems.
  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on plumbing systems.
  • Ability to identify locations of required parts and materials.
  • Knowledgeable in all standard operation procedures within the division and work instructions.
  • Participation in all APTIM/HDSS EHS and Quality procedures.
  • Ability to use equipment manuals and follow and understand manufacturers' specifications.
  • Must be able to act professionally in the presence of the public and co-workers.
  • Must be able to accurately track time, work orders, and parts using electronic devices.
  • Participate in employee enhancement programs.
  • Housekeeping-cleaning office and shop areas.

Requirements



  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must possess a valid Class C Driver's License.
  • Demonstrated capability to perform maintenance and repairs to plumbing systems and hot water systems.

Working Conditions


The physical demands of this job include standing, walking, reaching, stretching, lifting, pushing, moving, pulling, bending, climbing, stooping, balancing, twisting, kneeling, crouching, and crawling. The employee must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to multitask.

APTIM offers a competitive salary range of $40-$60 per hour, depending on experience and location. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, as well as a 401(k) retirement plan and paid time off.
