Job Overview
We seek a skilled Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting physicians as they assess, examine, and treat patients.
About the Role
This is a full-time opportunity that involves working in a fast-paced medical office environment. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Assisting physicians with examinations and various diagnostic procedures
- Performing and documenting vital signs, clinical care quality measures, and medical history information
- Maintaining and ordering supplies for your area as needed
- Providing excellent customer service to patients, families, and colleagues
- Working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent required
- Medical Assistant Certification within 6 months of hire
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association within 90 days of hire
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with medical office procedures
