Position Overview:
The Senior Vice President of Credit Operations will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing strategic initiatives within the credit department. This position serves as a vital resource for financial expertise and industry insights, collaborating directly with clients to devise customized financing solutions for intricate policies and competitive scenarios.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement underwriting guidelines that balance risk management with profitability strategies.
- Continuously assess market trends and adjust operational strategies accordingly.
- Provide approval metrics, terms, and risk exposure assessments for loan proposals.
- Coordinate business processes with the inside sales team to enhance workflow efficiency.
- Advise on rates, terms, and exposures for loan quotes exceeding established authority limits, streamlining decision-making processes for senior management.
- Assist inside sales personnel with complex financial inquiries and technical questions related to insurance and premium financing.
- Engage in collaborative discussions to refine the inside sales process and improve overall team performance.
- Lead and nurture the credit team, fostering a culture of ongoing learning and professional growth.
- Evaluate departmental efficiencies and recommend improvements in collaboration with other divisions.

Qualifications:
- A minimum of 10 years of leadership experience in a credit department within a financial institution or finance company.
- An active insurance license is preferred, along with advanced knowledge of insurance terminology and policy language.
- A bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, or accounting is required, or equivalent experience.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% for meetings and conferences.
