Mammography Technologist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team at Advocate Health. As a Mammography Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality mammograms and bone density testing on physician-referred patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Care: Deliver patient care in accordance with departmental standards, adapting to customer needs as necessary.
• Mammography Procedures: Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms, bone density testing, and other related procedures.
• Image Quality: Ensure high-quality images are obtained, adjusting positioning and technique as needed.
• Documentation: Accurately document patient information, images, and other relevant data.
• Education and Support: Provide pre-procedure, procedure, and post-procedure education and support to patients.

Requirements:

• Education: Graduate of an AMA-approved program in Radiologic Technology.
• Experience: 2+ years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist or sonographer, with 40 hours of specialized training and continuing education in mammography.
• Licensure: Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) and IDNS License.
