Job Title: Per Diem Child Psychiatrist

We are seeking a skilled Child Psychiatrist to join our Outpatient Department in New Jersey.

Mt. Carmel Guild Behavioral Health System, a leading provider of mental health and addiction services, is dedicated to delivering exceptional care to children and adolescents experiencing mental illness or behavioral problems.

This unique opportunity allows you to work with a multidisciplinary team in our Outpatient Program, providing individualized assessment, goal-oriented treatment planning, and continuity of care for young patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct psychiatric evaluations, initial assessments, and ongoing reviews at least two times per year
  • Meet regularly with clients to discuss their progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Participate in treatment and service plans, provide consultation to program staff, and medical input into program development
  • Complete relevant paperwork, call in prescriptions, and follow up with referral sources
Requirements:
  • NJ Medical Doctor's License
  • Current NJ Controlled Dangerous Substance Registration
  • USDEA Controlled Substance Registration
  • Board certified or eligible in child psychiatry
  • Medical Doctor's Degree
Compensation:

The estimated salary for this position is $250-$300 per hour, depending on experience.
