Key Responsibilities- Assist in performing diagnostic fluoroscopic angiographic procedures, coronary and peripheral interventions, and Electrophysiology procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory.
- Provide patient care and preparation for cardiac procedures, monitoring patient condition pre and post procedure, and reporting changes to the physician or R.N. for follow-up.
- Conduct preventative maintenance of Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory equipment, reporting malfunctions to the Assistant Director and calling for services as needed.
- Manage medical supplies and equipment.
- Perform diagnostic, emergent, and known intervention cardiac cases, including Impella, Balloon Pump, CTO, Athrectomy, Structural Heart (TAVR, Watchman) PFO, cardiomems, EKOS, loop recorders, and occasional pacemakers.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient laboratory operations.
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- ARRT and RCIS certifications
- Guaranteed hours: 36 or 40 hours per contract
