Aerodynamics Simulation Engineer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Aerodynamics Simulation Engineer to join our team at SteelStone. As a key member of our design and development team, you will be responsible for designing, simulating, and optimizing airflow in kitchen appliances such as air fryers and convection ovens.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement simulation models for airflow in various kitchen appliances
* Collaborate with product design teams to integrate simulation results into product development
* Conduct tests and analyze data to evaluate performance and efficiency of designs
* Use computational fluid dynamics (CFD) tools to predict airflow patterns and thermal effects
* Continuously improve simulation methodologies and techniques
* Document and present simulation results and design recommendations to stakeholders
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field
* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in aerodynamics simulation or related field
* Proficient in CFD software and tools
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Knowledge of kitchen appliance design and functionality
Preferred Qualifications:
* Master's degree in a relevant engineering field
* Experience in consumer product design and development
Working Conditions:
* Office environment in Brooklyn, NY
* Regular office hours with occasional overtime to meet project deadlines
* Collaborative atmosphere working closely with design and engineering teams
