About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our Pacsun team. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience, generating sales, and executing visual directives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring a positive and engaging experience for all customers.
  • Focus on full-price selling while maintaining awareness of product value and promotions.
  • Handle customer situations in compliance with policy and procedures, and partner with leadership when dealing with escalated issues.
  • Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Execute all visual directives and maintain visual standards set by the company and as directed by the management team.
  • Support high standards of organization and cleanliness, promoting a safe working and shopping environment.
  • Uphold and comply with all company policies, including the Policy and Procedure Manual, Code of Business Conduct, Employee Policy Guide, and Safety Program.
  • Comply with all Loss Prevention policies and communicate violations directly to leadership or via the Silent Witness Hotline.
  • Share feedback from customers with leadership to improve the overall customer experience.
Requirements
  • Passion for product, brands, fashion, and trends.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Effective written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong communications skills.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Proficient in math and possesses strong computer skills.

Physical Requirements

The physical demands described here are representative of those that are required by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

  • The associate must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
  • The associate must frequently sit/stand for long periods of time and climb ladders as needed.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to talk or hear.
  • The associate is frequently required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; as well as reach, twist, or squat.
  • Ability to maneuver around sales floor, stockroom, and office areas.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to work in an open environment with fluctuating temperatures and standard lighting.
  • Hotel, Airplane, and Car Travel may be required for SM and above roles only.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a part-time position. Ability to work a range between 20-40 hours per week is required. As a National Retailer, flexibility with work schedule (able to work weekends, nights, peak holiday periods) is required.
