Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Class A CDL Driver to join our team at Novo Healthcare Services. As a key member of our linen management team, you will be responsible for delivering and picking up linen products from hospitals and healthcare facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive company truck carrying Novo Healthcare Services products to designated hospitals and healthcare facilities.
  • Make timely deliveries and pickups as set by schedule, following designated routes and ensuring efficient use of time.
  • Represent the Company in a professional and courteous manner, interacting with clients and colleagues in a respectful and friendly manner.
  • Load and unload clean linen from the delivery truck, ensuring accurate and efficient transfer of products.
  • Transport soiled linen back to the plant, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
  • Follow all federal, state, and local requirements, including DOT rules and regulations, and OSHA guidelines.
  • Coordinate daily activities with Transportation, General Managers, and Team Leaders to ensure seamless operations.
  • Maintain the vehicle's cleanliness, perform preventative maintenance, and disinfect the vehicle after transporting soiled linen.
  • Understand, observe, and adhere to all safety procedures and policies, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Assist in other areas as required and perform other duties as assigned.
  • Participate in the DOT Random Drug Testing program.
Requirements
  • Valid Class A CDL with a good driving record.
  • Able to obtain any other licenses or pass tests required by regulatory agencies at that location.
  • Able to maintain a safe driving record.
  • Able to push/pull loaded carts of hospital supplies (weighing up to 500 pounds) on and off the truck and transfer to designated areas of a client hospital.
  • Able to communicate professionally with clients.
  • Ability to keep accurate log sheets.
  • Detail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers as appropriate.
  • Ability to read and understand applicable Standard Operating Procedures.
