Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance team at TRG Management Company, LLP. This is a full-time position that requires excellent leadership skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in multi-family apartment maintenance, with a focus on HVAC/CFC certification and experience working with plumbing, electrical, drywall/painting, and appliance repairs.

A successful candidate must be able to lead by example, prioritize tasks effectively, and maintain a high level of professionalism in all interactions with staff, residents, and vendors.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the maintenance team to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects.
  • Develop and implement maintenance policies and procedures to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory, and safety data.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and training sessions to promote a safe work environment.
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in multi-family apartment maintenance, with a focus on HVAC/CFC certification and experience working with plumbing, electrical, drywall/painting, and appliance repairs.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate a team and build positive relationships with staff, residents, and vendors.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment with frequent changes in priorities.
