Key Responsibilities- Power Generation Risk Assessment: Develop and implement risk assessment models for power generation infrastructure to ensure optimal availability and reliability.
- Design Strategy: Advise on design strategy for data centers based on availability analyses and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Performance Metrics: Oversee and review performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Failure Mode and Effect Analysis: Conduct Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) studies to identify potential failure modes and implement mitigation strategies.
- Project Management: Conceive, initiate, and lead availability projects with widespread impact on infrastructure design, innovation, and implementation.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Nuclear Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in power generation, with 5+ years of direct experience building risk assessment models for power generation infrastructure.
- Skills: Strong working knowledge of power generation technologies, including gas-fired and nuclear power, as well as high and medium voltage power transmission and distribution infrastructure.
- Communication: Excellent communication and writing skills, with the ability to critically audit and provide customer-representative feedback on design concepts.
