Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Grill Cook to join our team at Jax, LLC dba Golden Corral. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality food products for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Production: Prepare and cook Hot Choice Buffet products, including Carving and Display Cooking products, according to Golden Corral recipes and procedures.
  • Grilling and Cooking: Grill all items according to Golden Corral standards to ensure quality and freshness.
  • Inventory Management: Restock and rotate food products using the first-in, first-out method (FIFO) and take inventory of products at the beginning and end of each shift.
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the Hot Cook area and all smallwares, and follow local health department laws.
  • Guest Service: Ensure that Hot Choice Buffet products are always hot and fresh for guests and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in food production and cooking preferred.
  • Skills: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
