UnityPoint Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Maternity Unit team at Methodist West Hospital. This 12-bed unit provides care for the perinatal family during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum hospitalization.
Responsibilities:
As a Registered Nurse on our Maternity Unit, you will provide and coordinate nursing care to patients utilizing the nursing process. You will complete documentation to assure an accurate record of patients care, utilize critical thinking in making independent judgments, and maintain responsibility for the knowledge of conditions of assigned patients. You will also collaborate with physicians and other professionals in planning and implementing care within hospital policy and legal limitations.
Qualifications:
Current active Iowa License to practice as a RN. Minimum of six months RN experience. Department of Labor Level III (Medium) Work. Candidates must successfully complete a post-offer, pre-employment strength and agility test at Medium Level of Work.
