The Providence Community Health Centers, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team as an Integrated Behavioral Health Care Provider. This role will play a critical part in supporting integrated behavioral health care provided in primary care settings.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Psychiatric Assessments and Diagnostic Evaluations: Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify patients with complex psychiatric needs.
- Initiate and Monitor Medications: Develop and implement evidence-based pharmacologic treatment plans for patients with psychiatric conditions.
- Coordinate Care Plans: Collaborate with primary care teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans for patients with complex psychiatric needs.
- Provide Crisis Intervention Services: Respond to and provide crisis intervention services as needed to patients with psychiatric conditions.
- Education and Training: Provide education and training to integrated behavioral health clinicians and primary care teams regarding behavioral health conditions and their interactions with physical health.
- Master's Degree in Nursing: Must have a Master's Degree in Nursing as an Advanced Practice Nurse specializing in psychiatry.
- Licensure: Must be licensed to practice Advanced Practice Nursing in Rhode Island or able to obtain license.
- Professional Education: Maintain ongoing professional education as mandated by state regulation.
- DEA Number: Possession of, or the ability to obtain, a Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) number to furnish controlled substances.
