Position Overview: RN ED Part Time Nights

As a Registered Nurse, you will provide expert nursing care within a designated unit, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans. Your role will involve delivering individualized, age-appropriate bedside care based on the nursing process and patient requirements. You will also take on supervisory responsibilities, utilizing your judgment to guide other healthcare professionals in delivering quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop care plans tailored to patient needs.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of nursing practices and adjust care strategies accordingly.
  • Participate in regular patient rounding to ensure optimal care delivery.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and best practices in the workplace.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to other members of the healthcare team.

Essential Skills: Strong interpersonal abilities and a collaborative spirit are essential. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with high-pressure situations is crucial. Excellent customer service skills and basic computer proficiency are required. Experience in CVICU or ICU is highly preferred, along with a minimum of two years in Cardiac Stepdown.

Qualifications:

Minimum Education: Nursing Degree from an accredited institution.

Preferred Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

Minimum Experience: A minimum of two years of current Level III NICU experience, including neonatal ventilator management.

Preferred Experience: At least one year of acute care experience is preferred, but new graduates will be considered. Certification in a specialty area is advantageous.

Licensure/Certifications: Must hold a valid Registered Nurse license in the State of Arizona. CPR and ACLS certifications are required as applicable.

Training Requirements: Specific certifications may be required based on departmental needs.
