Responsibilities
  • Provide medical leadership and direction to the healthcare team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.
  • Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless coordination of care and services.
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and services.
  • Provide training and education to healthcare staff on clinical policies and procedures.
  • Participate in medical staff meetings and provide input on clinical policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient satisfaction and engagement.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination of care and services.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited medical school.
  • Fully licensed to practice medicine in the state of employment.
  • Current DEA registration.
  • Board certified or board eligible in primary care specialty (Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Public Health or Occupational Medicine) with administrative experience in corrections and/or managed healthcare delivery.
