HGV Driver

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Class 2 HGV Driver to join our team at Veolia UK. As a key member of our waste management team, you will be responsible for driving a refuse collection vehicle to planned locations, loading and unloading waste, and ensuring the vehicle is in a clean and safe condition.

• Drive a refuse collection vehicle to planned locations and load waste into the vehicle
• Help with loading and unloading vehicles as required
• Complete daily vehicle checks as per the driver operator handbook
• Use onboard technology to complete work notes and ensure compliance with traffic laws and legislation
• Ensure the carriageway is left in a clean condition and any spillages are cleaned up

• Class 2 License
• Up-to-date CPC/DIGI card
• Good time-management skills and a can-do attitude
• Ability to work as part of a team to ensure smooth collections
