Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Server to join our team at Chicago (Jacobs). As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests, ensuring that every visit is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Guest Service: Provide efficient and friendly service to guests, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Food and Beverage Knowledge: Possess a thorough understanding of our menu and beverage options, including food allergies and special requests.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless service and a positive dining experience.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with guests, colleagues, and management to ensure that all needs are met.
  • Time Management: Manage multiple tables and tasks simultaneously, prioritizing guest needs and ensuring timely service.
  • Adaptability: Remain flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment, adjusting to changing circumstances and guest needs.
Requirements:
  • Food Service Experience: Previous experience in a food service environment, preferably in a high-volume restaurant or hospitality setting.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with guests and colleagues.
  • Teamwork: Proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive work environment.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing circumstances, priorities, and guest needs in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, move quickly and safely, and lift up to 50 pounds.
